Do I need to reserve a seat for my infant?

Children up to 2 years old (24 months) are not required to have their own seat for travel. However, passengers may reserve a separate seat for their infant at full adult fare, which must be reserved through the Service Center.

Will I pay for my infant to travel domestically?

Yes, you will have to pay EUR 20 to travel with a lap infant.

Will I pay for my infant to travel internationally?

Yes, you will have to pay EUR 20 to travel with a lap infant.

What if my child turns 2 on the trip; will I have to buy a ticket for the return flight?

Yes, passengers that turn 2 during the trip will have to purchase a return ticket for the full fare.

What infant amenities are available on the aircraft I'll be flying (i.e. bassinets)?

infant iconInfants have a checked luggage allowance of 10 kg. Passengers choosing to use this to travel with an infant car seat or lightweight buggy may check these items at the gate. Passengers travelling with a child over the age of two may bring a child car seat, which counts as one piece of hand luggage. Only passengers travelling with a child in a separate seat may bring a child car seat onboard. Children under two in a separate seat may travel with a car seat free of charge. There are no infant carrycots onboard, and passengers are not allowed to bring their own.

What types of child restraint devices are allowed?

The dimensions of an infant car seat cannot exceed 42 cm wide and 57 cm long. The seat must have a visible EU or other official certification label. It may be inflatable, however children are not allowed to sit in inflatable child seats during take-off, when the seatbelt sign is switched on and landing.

Can I sit in the Exit Row with my infant?

No, passengers travelling with infants may not sit in the Exit Row.
