Overview

Thai Airways' B777-300 aircraft offers two classes of service: Royal Silk Business and Economy. Royal Silk Business features 34 seats in rows 11-16 and Economy Class has 330 seats in rows 31-72. All seats are fitted with AVOD entertainment systems and in-seat power ports. Royal Silk Class seating offers lumbar support and massage features and foot and leg rests are available in both classes.

48D has a leg room problem. There is a small black box under 47D which inhibits full leg extension. After 5 hours it started to get on my nerves.

The seat was horrible, it couldn't recline fully into a flat bed unlike the 777-300ER which can the screens were unavailable for the hole flight but the crew were friendly and helpful.

The seats in this exit row have a lot of leg space to the front. But at my hip width (jeans size 34) or above I would consider the seat width unbearable. It's not the usual fixed arm rest, but has another 3-4cm reduced width to the side due to the entertainment system controls placed there. Luckily only a 2h flight, can't imagine it long distance.

The seats are close to each other. I am 179cm tall and my knees are touching the magazine holder. Another point for all seats on the isle, they have the entertainment box under the seat in front of you limiting drastically how much space you have to put your feet. W

This plane layout takes cattle class to a whole new level. When the seat in front of me put their seat back it was literally 3" in front of my nose. So cramped.

Have flown on Thai Airway TG 473 and TG 474 from Brisbane to Bangkok and return many times over the past few years. I have to say that each time we are sat in different rows and OMG the seats are the most uncomfortable ever, so cramped and as for leg room, well, another story, there is none. There is no room if you wanted to stretch your arms . Oh sorry, there is but you will have your elbows/arms in the passengers face sitting next to you. As for the meals, terrible. I am gluten free and the only tasty food on the tray is the gluten free bread and the biscuit that are packaged by Rowes. The actual meal itself has not changed in all the years we have flown. Same old, same old, every single trip. Gluten Free is more widely known about now and foods are a whole lot better then what they use to be, so i don't understand why we keep getting dished up the same awful food. I also have to say that the attitude of flight attendants over the years is somewhat disappointing. Just an observation from the years flying Thai. Thank you

Normally I fly Star Alliance since they pretty much cover a lot of destinations. I flew from ICN to BKK and was assigned 32C. Yes, the seat has tons of space for your legs, but since you have no seat in front of you, there is virtually nowhere to put your belongings during the flight (magazines, phone/tablet, headphones, etc). I always use TG since I like their service and food. However I felt that the cabin crew were a bit on a rush and not friendly at all. They weren't exactly rude but I expected the usual smile and kind service I'm used to. The girl never smiled. She did her job ok though. For an almost 6 hour flight, I think the seat was ok.

The design is very poor. The business class offers too little space. Forget the 163 degrees recline. This is for small people only. Food was very inacceptable. What a downgrade !

The back row seats (row 72)are first to get food/drink service.Also there is 2 less seats in the 2 back rows,more room to stand up for a stretch, close to toilets.And no one behind to keep pushing their knees into the back of the seat.Last time i flew TG474 Brisbane - Bangkok the whole back row (72) was empty except for me

I sat here on a long international flight. I found that people where asked to return to their seats when getting up to stretch. They didnt stay up and bther me. This seat got food first and the staff was always there to help.
