What methods of transport does Shenzhen Airlines provide for my pet?
Shenzhen Airlines allows dogs, cats, birds, and small animals to fly on all flights. Most pets will be carried in the cargo department only and must be properly crated. However, with the consent of Shenzhen Airlines small pets might be permitted to be carried in the passenger cabin. The pets must remain in their crate and must be placed under the seat in front of the passenger.
Please note that service animals for passengers who are blind or deaf may travel within the aircraft cabin at the descretion of Shenzhen Airlines. Arrangements must be made with Shenzhen Airlines prior to the date of travel.
What are the fees associated with pet transport?
Pets are not included in the normal free baggage allowance and will be considered excess baggage. The passenger must pay the applicable rate associated with the transport. Please check with Shenzhen Airlines directly when making travel arrangements for the correct applicable rate the applicable rate.
What health and other documentation is required?
All owners of pets must have 1) a valid health vaccination certificate, 2) entry and exit permits, and 3) other documentation that is required by the authorities at the origination and destination.
