If I plan to check in at the airport, how much time should I allot?
For international flights, passengers must be at Mexicana's airport counter for check-in at least 90 minutes prior departure. For domestic flights, passengers must be at Mexicana's airport counter for check-in at least 60 minutes prior departure.
Mexicana recommends for International flights arrive to the Airport three hours prior to departure, and for Domestic flights arrive two hours prior to departure.
Passengers holding a boarding pass for a domestic flight with no checked luggage must be a the last boarding gate at least 30 minutes before schedule departure time and must contact a Mexicana representative. Passengers traveling with luggage are required to check-in at the counter 60 minutes prior to flight departure. And in both cases passengers must be at the boarding gate 30 minutes before schedule departure time.
