The legroom is unbearable. For a flight that takes 11h this is impossible to seat. I am 1,83 cm and this was the worst flight ever. And I did spent some time in the air in my life. Flight to Ljubljana with duration of 2h was much more comfortable. I won't fly with Turkish anymore. That I am sure.

Despite seat provides essential legroom, this row is located just behind lavatory module and people are waiting just next to you. Another issue is regular sound of toilet flushing. Not too critical but if you are sensitive you may want to avoid this seat, as well as 23E and 23F

The business seats on the windows are wide, and comfortable with a great sense of open space — no video screen right in front of your face and no tight spaces for your feet. It is perfect for a couple who want to talk and enjoy the spectacular TK meals together.

40H has large space in front but the galley is next to it. I could not stretch my legs out because my feet were being stepped on. At least 15 times on the flight. 6 of those were by flight attendants coming out of the galley. The others were people coming down the aisle which jogs at that point because of the alley. I will never book this seat again after paying $110 to reserve it.

The seat was comfortable. My main beef was that the sound cancelling headphone jack had a broken pin and could not be used, so no sound for the entertainment system. This was the second time that this has happened on this same flight so the issue was never resolved, despite complaining. The screens are really far away anyways and you need good eyesight to see the screens. Other complaint is that the cabin crew are reluctant to serve you alcoholic beverages and take their sweet time in getting drinks to you.

Flight 1953 IST to AMS, left 1,5 hours late due to missed slot. seats 11H, J and K are actually very good, surprised to see them marked yellow instead of green, legroom is excellent, bulkhead actually 3-4 inches further away than seats 11A to F. Crew professional, and nice to have a warm meal on a short flight.

Legroom was average, not very bad. Seat width was a little worse, but not too bad too. The food wasn't something extraordinary. Somehow the 29th row was the last to be served the food. On a flight to Houston my seat was in the row 27 and there was no such delay as on the return flight with seat 29D. BTW, the new IST airport is terrible, even if the plane lands on time it taxies sooo sloooooooooowly to the gate that you'll miss your connecting flight if your layover is 1 hour or so. Both times that we flew through the IST we landed on time and then it took us another 30-35 minutes just to arrive to the gate and get off the plane. Then you have to run madly all the way from one side of the airport to the other to catch you flight. By the grace of God we made it, but it was a terrible experience.

I disagree with the red warning re: seat 24K on this flight (JFK to IST). I thought it was a great seat, so it has no window; on TK#2 it is an overnight flight so there is nothing to look at anyway. You have an ocean of legroom in front of you so you do not have climb over your neighbor and easy access to the toilets. Yes, it is next to the AC and but I wrapped my feet in a blanket and was fine.

3 meter free space in front. I disagree with other reviews saying that people congregate in front of this. The only minor drawback is that the isle makes a sharp turn just when row 40 starts, so it might feel you are sitting a little off.

We liked these seats A&B, also sat in J&K on return. There are only two seats, but three in front of you, so you have the extra seat to put your items under. As noted, the seat pitch is awful. If someone leans back and you are not a child, you will have zero room.

August 31, 2017 flight from IST to DXB. The only remaining isle seat at the online check in was 49H. I never sat on a more restricted legroom seat ever. Due to the curvature of the plane at that point the legroom in 49H is much less than the window seat on the same row.

Few days ago I was flying back to Istanbul from Singapore, the seat I was boarded 37a is a regular seat however provided me a good space because nothing behind. So if you lean your seat, there is a nice corner for a long sleep. Personally I've slept 5 hours, non*stop, and one movie. Overall it was a confortable flight.

I sat in seat 12A from JFK to IST and I must say, for a 5'6" passenger, i had ample legroom to totally stretch my legs and pull my seat back. The plane was 100% full, and i still felt like i was sleeping on a twin bed. only con about the service is they take forever to pick up trays after meals, and people end up walking up to the cabin crew to take it. Besides that, food, entertainment choices and view was great. I could hear a pin drop, the engines were so quiet

52A from IST-YYZ on the Turkish 777. Good seat, though the overhead bin space was taken up by crew luggage, which isn't unusual. The seat itself was good, though on this flight the inflight entertainment system kept crashing (not a seat-specific issue). The twin seats (as opposed to three abreast seating) was nice, as it was 2 of us traveling together.

Seat 2B in business class was fine but I had to change my headphones twice because the first two sets were not working. The service from the attendants is poor. Food was mediocre. I was very disappointed for I had read ads noting that Turkish was voted best airline in Europe. I may have had bad luck, so I'm willing to give the airline another chance.

The seat pitch for long haul flights is really unacceptable. You will pray that the person in front of you does not recline, or the screen will be literally 12 inches in front of your face, and if you have a window seat, you will have to crawl over the seats to get out. There is absolutely no way to stand up if someone is reclined. It's hard enough to stand up with the seats straight up! Really miserable for long haul flights unless you get lucky like we did on the return and the middle seat between us was empty. that made it SO much better! Also, if you recline your seat, the bottom of your seat moves forward, making your knees jam up even more into the seat in front of you. Will NEVER again fly coach on Turkish Air!

If you want to sleep on overnight flight avoid this seat. Whenever the staff are serving the carts are placed right in front of you and they had absolute disregard for me seating there as the carts bumped into me and rolled over my feet at least 3x- people tend to conjugate around the exit door right in front of you so you are continously disturbed, seat bumped into by the carts, etc. worst seat ever

Very uncomfortable for long haul. Seats are too close and when the person in front of you reclines, you are pinned in. Knees in the seat in front of you. The food is unpleasant, I suggest bringing food/snacks for this long haul. Turkish Airlines flights are always too hot. Staff are sometimes friendly and sometimes not. But the most important thing is how uncomfortable the economy class is for a long haul. Never again.

my wife and I occupied seats 5K and 5J on 12 hours flights. Seat are very comfy, allow for good night sleep...As other noted, TK keep temperature warmer than others, so dress lightly(or have a change of cloth for sleeping), moreover bedding and blankets are provided.

Great aircraft, nice seat configuration. Much confortable than 3-4-3. Food was really nice and the crew was friendly. I flew EZE-IST-EZE. The seat was quite good, though being over the wing you don't get much of a view. The cabin temperature was quite nice, not too hot, not too cold (of course people may feel different since not everyone is used to the same temperatures). It's worth every cent.

A very comfortable seat and spacious area for my spouse and me. The business class configuration provides a large amount of space in front and between you and your traveling companion. For 51A pitch is normal, but because of the fuselage is narrowing back there, 51B offers an angeled,reduced pitch. Long leged passengers should avoid 51B. Certainly applies to 51J as well

Had a very good experience in economy flying IST-HKG and back. These 777-300ER were brand-new, built in 2015, with NEW type of economy cabin, which reminds economy on the Emirates A380 (very comfortable cushion, pretty wide seats, big and responsive IFE screens, no interfering power box under the seat), but seat pitch is noticeably smaller. Anyway, pitch wasn't an issue for me (I am 5'10"), and I found that if one removes thick pack of the magazines from the pocket, lower the footrest and stick his legs over it, he can comfortably stretch the legs, even if the front backrest is reclined. Food is also very good, cabin crew is friendly, so I can recommend flying long-haul on the newest 77W's of TK.

Economy class seats in this version of 777-ER are not fit for long distance travel. I am not very tall or very fat, but my knees knocked against the seat in front of me even without being reclined. The TV screen was literally 12 inches from my face, almost impossible to see. The foot rest bounced against my shins. I will try to exchange for another seat for my trip back, but unless I get a bulkhead seat I don't expect a better experience. Food was OK, I've had better.

Flew this plane on 2015/02/06 and again on 2015/18/06 from SFO. The plane map is incorrect. In front of aisle 11 is a wall and business class is on the other side. The bathrooms are behind aisle 16 and there is a window behind 16 in a Economy bathroom, for those of you who care. The food was much better than any other airline traveling to Europe. I agree that it was hot and they need individual air ducts, if they changed the temperature for one section, somebody would complain and they would switch it back. Overall, a superior product leaving SFO for Europe. Amenity kits with slippers, lip balm, touthpaste and brush, and ear plugs.

In my experience 11C or 11H are the second best seat of the plane, just a little behind 24C or 24H, because the space for the legs are very very similar and are more near the plane's exit. In addition, 24A or 24 K are just next to the ground's air condition, so I froze my legs in a long haul trip! Avoid seats on line 40, is where cattering is prepared and middle flight snacks. Extremely transited.
